In the Hospital

(I'm in the hospital.)

I've been hospitalized.  I contracted a disease called cellulitis.  Talk about painful.  I can't even stand up.  I'm currently being bombarded intravenously with antibiotics.  But I'm hanging in there. In fact, my spirits are actually high.  I'm quite the stud.  Perhaps I'll blog tomorrow.  God bless.

    1. Sadly, I've had a change of heart. I'll never live with the woman again. There's only so much abuse a man can take. I need a little peace in my life.

      Cheers.

  4. I'm sorry about your cellulitis, Mr. Smith. Probably got you in the legs, right? Was it from an infected cut, or (worse) due to swollen lower legs and fluid retention? Coz that's what happens when one is middle-aged, overweight and inactive. I don't see you blogging about five-mile walks through the rice paddies any more. Good luck with beating this, getting into better shape, and stay away from the MERS when you're in that hospital!

    1. Actually, I got it trying to walk 100 kilometers in three days. On the third morning, I started popping my numerous blisters with a needle. Then I taped up my feet. But the 94th kilometer, I could no longer walk. I suspect the bacteria got through my blisters. But 94 kilometers isn't bad for a dude my age. I'm still the stud.

      Cheers.

  11. Hope you're recovering, AS. I had a couple of spots on my leg once and it didn't look like the old immune system was going to git 'er done.
